San Diego-Wild Animal Park

Last stop before heading home was the Wild Animal Park in Escondido around 20-25 minutes from Downtown SD. I seen some commercials or two about this park and tours they offer to see animals of Africa in a more open enviroment. Unfortunately the park didn’t pan out like I hope’d. The animals for the majority were in standard zoo like paddocks. Although there were open area’s like the commerical shows there was not much really too see different than what I’ve seen in other zoo’s. But we had fun of course.

San Diego-Sea World

We wanted to get a away and take a little trip somewhere, but where ? Las Vegas or San Diego or even Monterey Bay ? All places have there sites and sounds, but we came down to San Diego since it was closer than the other two which was nice since we were only planning a 3 day trip we wanted the extra time to check out the city rather than being on the road.

Being in San Diego and wanting stuff to do, Sea World was a no Brainer plus Leilani’s family was in town and we got to have fun with them.

Piranha’s my favorite fish

Leilani and Ed

These came in handy for sure.

The sign to give the whale to get some air.

The seal show,hilarious-the best show\ride of all day, best to see it at night.

Dancing

Headed down to Los Angeles to visit family and we were treated with some dancing lessons by Leilani’s Aunt and Uncle who were Pro’s. Got to see a little Salsa, Merengue and some ChaChaCha =).

Everyone was enjoying the Dancing.

Baby Shower -Matthew & Taylor

Drove up to Victorville over the weekend from HB to be at the Baby Shower of Matthew and Taylor who are having a baby girl very soon! Lots of good food, the shower was held at Maverick Stadium which worked since Matthew is a huge Angel’s fan.

Evening at Disney.

Headed on over to Disneyland the other day to hang out with my wife and her sister Monica. Played and rode some new rides one in particular is Toy Story Mania probably one of our favorite rides at D-Land. It’s basically a 4-D game where you have a canon with a pull string that you pull as fast as you want and as much as you want and you see rings shoot out hitting plates or targets to get as many points you can as you move from one 4-D station to another.

Waiting in line under the shade for a water ride.

Love to be in this area and smell the Ice Cream!
